My Story

A selfie of Joy standing in front of the MSU College of Education backdrop

My full-time occupation is as an MSU student in the College of Education. I am currently a senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Special Education. I student teach in Fall 2024 and projected to graduate in December 2024. I graduated with my associate's degree in the Spring of 2022. My dream career is working with assistive technology to improve assistance to special needs individuals and the education field.

Aside from being a student and preparing for my future career, I have a few hobbies. It all began with an idea, and it grew tremendously. One of my favorite things is crafting with my die-cutting machines. I make various items for family, friends, and mutual people. My original experience that expanded and influenced my hobby was scrapbooking. I have been scrapbooking since 2013 and using die-cutting machines since 2017. I have learned much over time about crafting and utilizing new products and accessories to build my creations. It seemed like, once I started, I could not contain myself not doing more. These have inspired me to share them with others. Thank you to all who follow me, and I hope you “enjoy creativity” as much as I do!
