First Post of 2025

I can not believe it is already April. Craft projects have been slow this year to this point. I have been working on organizing and decluttering projects. My primary focus for this website content is products made with my Cricut machines. There are a few other craft/handmade projects this year. Maybe I can share some of my other craft projects on my blog later on.

Four years ago (featured in first photo), I made a wall canvas of my parents’ life events as a couple. I originally made the cansas with adhesive vinyl. My sister and I wrapped plastic wrap around it since the vinyl kept coming off. This ocure4d before I learned about using heat transfer vinyl on vasvas blanks. I decided to redo the canvas and use heat transfer vinyl to better adjere the text and prolong the life of the design. In the second photo, it is the new and improved version of the canvas. It looks better and more special after fixing it up,.Both versions look completely different in style and fonts. I learned that it is easier to work with thicker/bolder fonts for these type of projects rather thinner/skinner fonts.
